Women’s Golf Club

The Women’s Golf Club plays as a group every Tuesday and Thursday from April through the end of October. The Women’s Club has a scramble the first Thursday of each month, followed by our general meeting at the end of the year. A variety of tournaments and events are held throughout the year, including a 2-day Spring Tournament, Member Guest tournament, King City Exchange, Charity Tournament, Club Championship and a Horse race. Other planned activities include luncheons and a guest day. The end of season play is celebrated with a closing luncheon with awards given for most birdies, chip-ins, least putts and most improved player.

Summerfield’s Women’s Golf Club is open to Summerfield residents only. To become a member, you first must pay the posted annual fee. In addition, if you use a power golf cart, that use fee must also be paid before you can use the cart on the course.

If you are interested in joining the Women’s Golf Club, contact any officer listed on the bulletin board in the Clubhouse downstairs lounge by the Golf Shop. The club welcomes and provides encouragement, support and camaraderie to all women golfers – both new and experienced.
