This sections offers frequently asked questions from both current residents and potential residents.

Q:  What information is there about the small lampposts in front of the homes?

A:  First of all, the maintenance and upkeep of the lamppost is the responsibility of the homeowner, however there are guidelines to follow.  The SCA office has printed material available regarding lamppost replacement.  If you need to replace it, you would follow the guideline and either install it yourself or contract with a handyman.  If you are simply repainting the post, use a flat black paint.  For the “glass” lenses (which are actually plastic), you can purchase them from the Summerfield Golf Pro Shop for $2.50 each.

Q:  What information is there about mailboxes?

A:  The east side of Summerfield currently has mail service delivered directly in a mail slot on their house; however the west side uses mailboxes.  The Architectural Committee provides the mailbox standards.  The SCA office has printed material available for your review.  Many neighbors choose to use a joint mailbox, both for aesthetic value and for cost savings.  In addition to reviewing the mailbox standards, you will need to complete an Architectural Change Request Form.

Q:  What information is there about golf course screens?

A:  The Architectural Committee provided some standards for golf course screens.  The SCA office has samples, guidelines and vendor information available.
