Craft Club
Tuesdays: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM - Arts & Crafts Room
We are a friendly group who enjoy being creative. We supply our own materials and work on individual projects. Everyone is always ready to share their skills, knowledge, and advice. And we’re ready to learn new crafts.
New members and visitors are always welcome to drop in. Coffee, tea and conversation are always served, sometimes with sweet treats.
Are you crafty?
Do you sew?
Do you knit or crochet?
Do you embroider or cross stitch or do needlepoint?
Is your passion making candles or soap?
Is making cards your obsession?
Do you make lace or tool leather?
Do you make jewelry or bead with enthusiasm?
Are you a weaver of cloth or a hooker of rugs?
Do you decoupage or etch glass?
Is paper making or origami your love?
Do you spend hours crafting glass, clay, paper, cloth, tin, wood, ribbon, beads, or silk flowers?
If you enjoy crafting and being with other creative people, come join the Summerfield Craft Club, have fun and make new friends!
The Craft Club presents a Holiday Bazaar annually in November where members offer their crafts for sale and support a charity. In 2009 we held our 21st annual bazaar which was very successful, allowing us to make a substantial donation to our chosen charity, Loaves and Fishes – Tigard Meals-on-Wheels.
We also participate in the Annual Summerfield Art Fest which is held in late September.
Some of the members of the Craft Club knit squares which are joined into afghans and given to a charity. Over 85 afghans have been made and donated to the Good Neighbor House of Tigard.
Membership Dues: $1.00 per year |
