Line Dancing
Mondays: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM – Ballroom

Dancing without a partner is what the Summerfield Line Dance Club is all about. It is for those who don’t have a partner or for those who have a partner who chooses not to partake of our fun.

We maintain physical and mental health through the movement of dance. The tunes are generally familiar – country, swing, jazz and maybe even a waltz or two. You’ll also enjoy our social interaction. Beginners are welcome at any time as our dances accommodate all levels of expertise.

The only thing you need is shoes that will slide across a dance floor. The cost is $3.00 for the hour.

Summerfield Social Dance Club

The Summerfield Social Dance Club will be having five dances in 2013. They will be in our Clubhouse located at 10650 SW Summerfield Dr., Tigard, OR 97224. All dances are open to the public for all ages that enjoy ballroom dancing, or simply to hear the good music and meet people. Dress is usually slacks, skirts, dresses, and shirts. Admission is $7.00 per person. Singles are welcomed. We try to have male hosts to dance with the single ladies. All dances are from 7 PM – 9 PM. Mark your calendar for the remaining 2013 dances:

June 22, 2013 Sat. come early for Ice Cream Social from 6:30-7:00pm Music by Dance Tonight, 50’s, & 60’s

August 17, 2013 Sat. “Caribbean Night” Wear Hawaiian shirts & dresses. Music by Lee Nicholas

October 19, 2013 Sat. “Sadie Hawkins” Jeans are allowed. Music by Lee Nicholas

December 14, 2013 Sat. Holiday Dance. Semi-formal. Each person bring hot or cold hors d”oeuvres for 12. Buffet 6:30-7:00pm. Dance from 7-10 p.m. Music by Swing Street Glenn Tadina Quartet.
